People are pissed big time... but they keep using the same mundane rhetoric - "politicians should be accountable", "pakistan m*bad"... and then they carry out the LAME practice of lighting candles... while all this should be encouraged, it should be more deep-rooted... Bigger questions need to be asked and bolder statements need to be made...
This government, if it wants to get re-elected needs to outdo itself - in order to win people's confidence it needs to go all out and be as bold as it can... it is off to a good start by getting the home minister Shivraj Patil to resign and getting idiots like RR Patil kicked out. It needs to do more in terms of getting tough with Pakistan and getting tough anti-terror laws in place. I hope it does so in the limited time-frame it has because the alternative - the BJP led NDA getting to power would be a nightmare... their leaders are as corrupt and in addition bigoted, hypocritic and uncivil people.
